Rachel Stander

A Season of Rain was founded by producer, Rachel Stander. Her first feature, SCRAP, world premiered at the Deauville American Film Festival in France and co-starred Anthony Rapp and Lana Parrilla. Most recently, she has been at festivals with the short film, SUCH A PRETTY GIRL, a collaboration with writer-director Deborah Puette. Executive Produced by Robina Riccitiello and D.D. Other work highlights include SÉANCE, a Victorian Gothic psychological thriller feature, and RUN WILD, a 1970s-set coming-of-age drama short.
Stander is the Los Angeles Co-Chair for Women Independent Producers, where she also serves as the Programs Coordinator. She is a member of Women in Film, Film Independent, and The Gotham, and was selected as a 2025 Stowe Producers’ Lab Fellow.
Stander has a proven record of fostering respectful, inclusive workspaces. Under her leadership, both SCRAP and SÉANCE were awarded the Reframe Stamp, a mark of distinction for projects that have demonstrated gender-balanced hiring across a production.
